  1. Substitute a jar of orange marmalade for the orange juice and zest. Use ginger (to taste) instead of red pepper flakes. Whatever you do, use these as a meatball sub sandwich. Delicious!!!

  2. I increased .the OJ but don’t think it was necessary. It was a little sweet for my taste, I ended up adding some salt and a can of plain canned cranberry sauce, that made a nice thick and sticky sauce for them. Next time I will leave out the honey.

    1. I would like to make this recipe and how easy using premade packaged meatballs. I am struggling with what these prepackaged meatballs have in them ! Are they made with quality ingredients especially the meat itself ?? Does anyone have thoughts or suggestions about this issue ? Thanks S.R.

      1. Hi Sherri! I try to buy the most high quality pre packaged meatballs that I can find. Costco, Whole Foods and large grocery stores all have good options. I hope you try this recipe!

    1. Hi, Tracey! I haven’t tested this recipe in an Instant Pot yet but you should be able to cook them by increasing the OJ to 1/2 cup. Let us know if you try it. Thanks!
