This easy recipe brings out the natural sweetness of the corn. Adding butter, garlic seasoning, salt and pepper elevates the flavor enough to create something unique and delicious.

It’s a versatile side dish that tastes great when served with a comforting weeknight meal, Thanksgiving dinner or summer bbq.

How to Slice Kernels Off the Cob

Use a sharp knife to cut the kernels off the fresh ear of corn. To prevent the corn from making a mess and going all over the place, you can stand the corn upright in the middle of a large bowl. Then, use a sharp knife and cut downward, as close to the base of the kernels as possible. Rotate the corn and repeat until all of the kernels are removed.

Pro Tip

Taste and adjust seasonings at the end. If you add other seasonings hold off until the end. This helps to ensure the best flavor and you can easily adjust to fit your taste preference.

  • Diced tomatoes
  • Seasoning Salt
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Honey
