- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken stock (or water)
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon as it browns. Cook the ground turkey until browned and no longer pink.
Reduce the heat to low, then add the chicken stock and spices. Stir together until the meat is coated in the sauce. Bring it to a simmer for 5 minutes until the liquid reduces and thickens a bit.
